The Radiant Light Collection of 2026 invites writers to explore the power of illumination—literal or metaphorical—and the moment when a single flash of insight, discovery, or revelation changes a character’s world. Your “light” can be anything: a lantern, a memory, a scientific breakthrough, a supernatural glow, a metaphorical realization, or something entirely your own.
We’re looking for stories that capture the wonder, tension, or transformation that follows when the truth comes suddenly into view.
What We’re Seeking
• Short fiction (any genre)
• Strong voice and emotional resonance
• A clear moment of revelation or shift
• Stories that linger after the final line
• Fresh perspectives from new and emerging writers
Guidelines
• Word count target: about 1,000–4,000 words
• Original work only. Previously unpublished or self published pieces are welcome. By submitting self published work, you consent to its inclusion in the collection if selected.
• All genres welcome (literary, sci fi, fantasy, mystery, contemporary, magical realism, etc.)
• Keep content appropriate for a general audience
